In 2002, Washington County Hospital treated 71,500 patients - many more than originally intended by designers and architects. Because the current hospital was built in seven phases, the facility is spread out and does not easily accommodate the new technologies that our patients require. The new medical center will embrace design and construction practices that accommodate the needs of our patients and their families, our medical staff, and our employees. A modern hospital adjacent to the Robinwood Medical Center, will allow our physicians, nurses and other health care professionals to deliver quality patient care for many years to come.
